Linocutting

What is Linocutting ?

Linocutting is a printmaking technique where designs are carved into a sheet of linoleum, inked, and then pressed onto paper or fabric to create bold, textured prints.

For kids, it’s a fun way to explore shapes, patterns, and textures while building focus and hand–eye coordination, patience, and spatial awareness .

For adults, it’s a relaxing, almost meditative process that also challenges you to think in reverse, since your print comes out as a mirror image.

And the best part ? Once you’ve carved your design, you can print it as many times as you like :
for art to frame, cards to share, or even to decorate textiles.
